1. You do not need a knock sensor to run s300.
2. Neptune works just like s300. S300 does have boost control via the stock ecu. Neptune will soon offer this.
3. Sell the vafc.
4. Don't run an fmu.
5. Read http://www.phearable.net/tech/....html

Re: ecu/tuning ?? (mtber)
no not to run an s300, i thought you needed it for the turbo igniton/retard, from what i have heard. i just dont wanna be running into some last minute thing cuz i have a chipped ecu, i am looking at ordering a complete kit so i know i am getting everything just not to sure of is how the ign./timing control will work with the chipped ecu? i am thinking of getting the turbo speacialties with the barret gt25r, but it says it cones with inj. and timing control

You should get your kit first so that you know for sure what setup you are going with , that means get injectors fuel pump turbo I mean everything . Then you order a basemap, because before you even order a chipped ecu you have to know what the hell you are going to run with before hand.

Re: (tekturbo)
u dont need a knock sensor/ecu with knock sensor cricuitry. all u need is bigger injectors, fuel pump, and a chipped ecu to run hondata, crome, ectune, neptune, etc

The ignition retard you speak of is in the MAPS of the program running in your ECU.
The points of a Knock Sensor is to retard timing IF the ECU sense knock in the motor...on an OBD1 Honda, they are pretty much useless, especially when you have a non stock motor and setup.
