when an ecu is chipped, does the knock sensor get disable?

Chipping an ECU does not alter any sensors. If an ECU is equipped with a knock sensor, then it would be there or vice versa.

my b16a is wired up for a p30 which includes a knock sensor, if i change over to a p28 will i have any problems
