Default knock sensor elimination

i installede a poor mans type r into my eg and have a few q's about eliminating knock sensor code.

ecu= p72

should i - chip it
tune it out with uberdata or something
or remove knock board.

can people tell me what is required to do these things? like remove knock board, or where to purchase chips.

you can chip the ECU or get the resistor that that people make on hear to fool the ECU. surch it out im to lazzy...

because i dont feel like finding a wires and plug and connecting it to the ecu when it isnt necessary. Plus i want to know how to eliminate it on my own so i know how to for the future.

You just need to disable it on the chip. There are details at http://www.pgmfi.org

it's a good thing to have; the OE knock sensor is pretty buff....

on pgmfi.com i saw a thread that showed what things to solder together on the knock board. Would this work for a p72? i cant become a member to pgmfi.com because they arn't sending me a activation email.
