Default ecu tuning

i bought a chipped P06 with crome from J-K-tuning this past summer for my turbo build and i havent put it in or tuned it yet, basically my question is do i have to use crome to tune it or can i use like hondata? i asked John Kerr (owner of J-K tuning) and he said i could use anything but i was wondering if this is true?

The only thing you have to worry about is J12.. that enables datalogging with crome and lets hondata function properly. Besides that, everything is the same. More or less.

You can use hondata... but you will have to purchase hondata separately. It's not a freeware like chrome/uberdata.

crome free.. is obviously free, but crome pro is $150. ALso you can have anyone that tunes crome or uberdata tune it for you with.

All the ecus i send out have the 4 pin header, that allows easy access for the moates hardware, like the hondalog for datalogging.
