i was wondering what's the highest horsepower someone has made with eagle rods (3/8 rod bolts). Is 600hp possible?

 

i would use those rods as a door stop, or a paper weight.

That's some great info man

I use them on a built H22 i'll be on a dyno in a week or 2(if i don;t forget i'll post the dyno sheet here). Going to boost to 25 psi and i think they will hold the power no problem.

I think high rev is more of a factor with rod failure. I'm only revving to 8000rpm instead of 9500 to 10000 people are doing now on those high power big turbo setups on b16,b18's.

Don;t know max power on them but 600 can be made. My oppinion .

 

i've HEARD them being unsed in a certain pro car doing 1000whpish...

but i've seen them in SEVERAL 500+whp street cars

 

I can think of a few cars making 650+ on them.

 

they are rated at 900hp at 9000rpm as stated by the eagle rep when i talked to him on the phone
