hahaha talk about a shot in the dark....... there are alot of things that could play a factor in the amount of power you can make with 1000cc injectors

If I remember correctly, they went from somewhere around 60% to somewhere around 80-85%. I'll get exact #'s later</TD></TR></TABLE>
Using these rough figures it looks like he is using 33% to 40% more fuel on E85 under load (80/60=1.33 & 85/60=1.41). So figure 1000cc injector on E85 is comparable to a 710cc to 750cc injector on gasonline.
1000/1.41=709cc
1000/1.33=752cc

Thanks for that info. Would that be maxxing everything in the fuel system out? Like stock lines to filter and a 255lphHP pump. It looks like I would have to run 1600's! Can Hondata run those?

Are those e85 prices somewhat on target? I was under the impression it was a bit cheaper...
But either way, we can make more power on it for cheaper without spending $6-12/gal on 110-116octane.

so as a general rule thus for, it appears the E85 is capable of making some decent power, but it seems you would need to run more fuel (more dc) to reach the same or similar power levels with standard gasoline?

Yes, they said that like 8 times...

Those prices are correct. Last time they raised prices because there was supposedly a shortage
. But as it progresses i'm sure the cost of e85 will go down. But still 2.54 for 104 octane sounds good to me.

Well we can add another car to the list. I just filled my tank with straight E70 (winter blend) and am getting tuned ASAP. I will have to get a retune for the summer blend I assume? Any recomendations for a noob to the E - fuel world?
My setup is
1992 Prelude Si 4ws - H22a4 (1999 Prelude Engine)
Basically stock - only aftermarket I/H/E
ODB1 running a chipped p28
Thanks for the help.
Also if anyone happens to have a good basemap for this setup please let me know. Thanks again.

What kind of mpg ratings are we looking at here: (Summer blend) boosted motor that's daily driven and in and out of boost occasionally on a conservative tune?
Ludefanatic posed a good question....will you have to retune between switching blends if you're not using NepTune's map-switching feature?
