e 85

Default e 85

i have two questions and this probly isnt the thread it should be in but does e 85 make more power and if so what do i have to do to convert to run it.

Yes it can make more power,but you need bigger injectors and pump.There are a few good threads,do a search.

i have a walbro 255 pump is that good? and how big of injectors should i go

It take a little less than twice as much e85 to make the same power as gasoline.That pump wouldn't be good for a lot more than 300 hp.

thats what im shooting for right now and then i will up grade, so how big of injectors do i need on a stock b16 that is turboed

My car took around 1/3 more fuel.
700 cc injectors should be adequate and the walbro would be adequate.
I'm making slightly less power than I did on race gas, at the same boost level. Much cheaper than race gas and temps are cooler.

I've tuned multiple cars to high 400's - low 500's WHP on a 255HP walbro and 1000cc injectors....

Had my H22 with 1000s to 440whp but the injectors were maxxxxxxed!
