Dyno'd Today...
i'm almost positive that its the igniton again. Im going to swap out my distributor with a new one i got because it hesitates pretty bad sometimes and the tach goes freaky on me!!! its my wires leading out to my external coil. They are getting a bad connection inside the distributor and i believe it's arcing inside the distributor housing or something. I think this because when i first started messin up at the track i took the cap off and redid those 2 wires and afterwards the tach stayed alive all the way to redline again!! it seriously wouldnt climb steady after like 3500-4000rpm. you could feel it hesitating bad. the coil is kinda pointless without a box right>(6A,ect.) But im no expert just my opinion and its based on the corrections i made that resulted in a fix. however temporary it may have been.. Oh and the dyno was a dynojet!!
well i can tell ya right now that 2.25" exhaust is definatly SUPER restrictive especially for a boosted application. Loost the exhaust and go with 3" or open downpipe. There is also something else wrong with those numbers though. just thought i would point out the obvious.
