Dyno vs. Track boost
Those of you with high pressure turbo setups (30+psi), was there a big variation in steady held boost pressure on the dyno and real boost pressure seen on the track?
I was having some problems with boost creep on the dyno, so we changed the wastegate spring out for a much lighter one that got the boost down to where we wanted it. But on actual track runs, there is no creep and actual boost is much lower than the pressures reached on the dyno at the same settings.
Hopefully all that was understandable.
