Default Dyno and throwing map sensor code

Today i went to Dyno Spot racing to have my car (89 civic d16z6 turbo) dyno tuned. Best pull was 162.7hp 149.2 tq made with homemade turbo set up with tdo5-14b turbo. Problem is in all the pulls at about 5500rpm car throws code for map sensor power drops off . Iam using a V-afc to tune the fuel. To try and fix this problem at the dyno place had them install a check valve. Dynoed no check engine light but power was like 122hp. Installed 2 more check valves to see if it would help , no check engine light but still low 130hp. So took the check valves off and dynoed and got around 155hp but now getting check engine light for map sensor again. Any suggestions or ideas on how to get the car to stop throwing map sensor code. its obdo using d16a6 ecu. would converting to obd1 help . ANy help is appreciated thanks

Why not use a missing link instead of check valves. It's supposed to be a lot better than check valves.

You're running -50% on the AFC when it throws a code?? How much boost are you running?

That doesnt make any sense. The MAP voltage reduced -50% on the AFC should clear 8psi with no problem. I guess your car is like my GSR... doesn't like the hack

Ok today i switched maps sensors with my brother. He has a 1993 integra ls. The sensor was a little bit different but looked just about the same. I drove the car and for like 3 or 4 pass shifting through grears letting it rev to like 6,500 no check engine light like it used to when it hit 5,500. Then i let my friend drive it and i rode with him. He pushed the car a little harder shifting at 7,000rpm and the check engine light comes on first for vehicle speed sensor then a little bit later for the map sensor. What could be the problem now?

So the new MAP sensor allowed you to see more boost w/o a CEL?
