Default my turbo is throwing a code

i put turbo on my 94 teg it's a homemade set-up i did myself but, everytime i boost real hard i throw a code and my check engine light comes on and my car starts running bad until i turn off the ignition and start it back up. is there something i can buy to stop it from doing this or something i can do? also am i suppose to have check valves anywhere on my turbo set-up? if anyone can help let me know. thanks.

Did you check what code(s) it's throwing? Most likely a MAP sensor code if you're not running any check valves. You need a Missing Link or 3 check valves between your trhottle body and MAP sensor. Or, you can try an electronic map limiter, AFC hack, or standalone.
