You guys are also missing the fact it says "MAX AFR" on the dyno sheet, as in, where the pull was started before it even hit boost its just logging peak values...

I tried to to tell these ******* that lol. Also his timing map looked to be at least in the ball park to me. Others seem to think its way too conservative.

My E85 LS setup didnt like that much timing surprisingly. The LSvtec on the other hand loves it.

Yeah my ls doesn't like a whole lot of timing either. It seems the free flowing vtec heads love timing, witch makes sense lol. Have you ever looked at timing maps for evos tuned on pump gas? They're timing is super low compared to most honda vtec setups I've seen.

Lmao

So do you have to remove the motor to install a vtec head or can you tap the block/install with the motor in the car?

No tapping needed on the block side. GE kit comes with sand which plate to do it and fitting for back of head along with plug and line. My build thread has pics.

There is definitely something major being overlooked here...
My cams are also 0/0 I have not degreed them in tho.

one more thing that I though was weird when my tuner was getting into boost he noticed my wastegate wouldn't open until 26psi. I have a tail 44mm mvr and the springs I have in it are plain, white, blue, and green according to tials spring pressure chart this should be 18.85psi why wouldn't it open until 26??

Yea that's the exact spring chart I used. I'm going to hook a compressor to mine at work tomorrow and take some datalogs of a couple pulls. I wish there was a way I could just put my tune file on here

I've ALWAYS used Intake manifold as the reference. In mulitple platforms. Honda, Mitsu, Ford.

I will try that but will that really make my wastegate open at such higher psi than the springs I have in it??
