Dyno question on 93/c16...?
I am going to be on the dyno hopefully later today or tomorrow afternoon sometime and i was going to use c16 for the tune, but then found out that its gonna be more of a hassle on me cause i'm just going to run 93 daily therefore the tuner would have to go back and mess with the maps for the different octane....but anywho i've decided to go with the 93, but i've heard that once you reach around the 20-22psi mark that it is unsafe to move into higher boost after that, in fear of detonation. is this correct.......
its a b18c, built, hondata, 750cc
any other info or comments would be greatly appreicated
Thanks

Re: Dyno question on 93/c16...? (99gsr-t)
it honestly depends on the motor and turbo setup. theres no set boost level that will cause detonation.
if you're tuner is compotent he will assess your setup and take the correct procedure and keep your motor safe.

this is what the tuner told me after he just got finished building the motor......so i guess this is what he thinks is best.
