I have noticed the same thing. You get the turbo spooled a lot sooner in 4th gear and make a ton more midrange. I haven't noticed a ton of difference in top end though, as long as you get traction.

i always dyno in 4th gear.

the dyno dynamics do read a bit lower than dynojets, but its in how everything is setup. That dyno is a bit lower though, i know i dynoed on a dynojet at 393 and on that one i was 354, at same boost levels

sweet, dan told me it ran 13% lower than a dynojet, so iono, i was just curious about it, i think i made good numbers tho, and my timing seems alright, im still blowing out spark at 21psi with my plugs gapped at .028

im obsessed with dynos now, i wish we had one local!!!

.028 isn't really that tight of a gap, close it down. I've went down to .020 when i was having misfire issues when spraying.

actually just turned the boost down to 18psi, seems liek a happy medium, and it doesnt blow out spark anymore and its plenty of power, thanks!

on high hp turbo cars, u need to do a 4th gr pull cuz the rpms will fly tooo fast</TD></TR></TABLE> Thats another factor creating the difference there wheelspin or something like that.
