Default dumptube?????

Ok i have a t3/t4 turbo (ebay) yea i already know bout it. It was a friend of mines kit and he has had no problems but since i recieved it i have had it rebuilt, but anyway the i was lookin at my downpipe and realized that their is no place for the dump tube. (i have a 38mm tial wastgate) so i am wondering if i have to go to the exhaust and get a whole new downpipe made or can they cut, make weld one to my current Dp. sorry for not searching im on my way to work jus needed this answered.

I am confused as to what you are asking (yes i did read).

Your dumptube does not have to be recirculated into your DP. You can just bend a piece of piping that will fit your wg flange and have it routed down.

Is this close to what you were wondering? lol

an exhaust shop SHOULD be able to notch your downpipe, make a dumptube and recirculate it back into your exhaust.

Just make sure they put it in at a 45* angle, rather than straight into it to help reduce backpressure from the exhaust entering back into the system.

Probably a good idea to get a flexpipe for your dumptube too.

But as the guy above me said, you don't HAVE to recirculate it ... people run atmosphere dumps all the time.

I agree.

I would say youd only really need a flex in the dumptube when it is being recirculated...other than that, just have a piece of pipe made and have it routed down by the bumper.

Atmosphere dumptubes is where it releases the excess exhaust/carbon into the air straight out of the dumptube.

Recirculated dumptubes is where that excess exhaust is released through the exhaust
