Default downsides to having a short downpipe?

the downpipe i had made for the car comes off the turbo and barely bends and tucks under the car my old downpipe was severly damaged due to a pot hole so i mangaged to save some of it. now it ends pretty much where the oil pan is,

is this dangerous?
will this effect my tune?

well aren't you going to have the exhaust go all the way to it or run open downpipe?

High off exhaust fumes, might go deaf, that's about it.

Those exhaust fumes will really get to you. For a week I ran an open downpipe that ended where the cat would be and the smell really bothered me.

yeah, it's real bothersome to have the exhaust fumes. i couldn't last 3 days. haha i had to hit up the muffler shop fasho.

i always wondered if you run an open downpipe prior to the oil pan, could there be a possibility of the oil pan getting hot enough to burn oil. lol

if its to short you can dispurse exhaust fumes into the engine bay, suck them in the turbo, and make less power.

the exhaust is going to get pushed right back into the engine bay on the firewall side...turn everything black....make you choke on fumes make less power and make you smell like gas everywhere you go
