Default Dump Tube??????????

I have a Tial 38mm external wastegate that is connected to my down pipe, dumping threw my exhaust. I want to get some ideas about how to run a dump tube maybe out my fender or something instead of out my exhaust!

why? do you want to get more attention or is it not loud enough for you? Just wondering?

It isn’t that hard to reroute your dump tube. but you would have to change your downpipe and have the section that the dump tube is routed into back so there is no open space in there or have it welded shut.

Is this a daily drive car?

correct me if i'm wrong, i thought there is a power gain with open loop vs closed. maybe that's what the OP is considering or just like the sound to scare little children?

i see no point in going from closed to open, most people just leave it open cause its easier than having it welded closed, but since your already closed i dont see the point.

I run open, heh its kinda fun, scares the **** outta people when you race haha its like spool, spool, spool, GRAAAHHHHHH

Lol, I can't wait to get my setup together. Open DP and Open DT till I can get an exhaust made.

There's no reason to change, it's not going to make any kind of difference unless you like being insanely loud at full boost.

ive seen big power gains going from closed to open on high horsepower cars. never really test it on anything making less than 400 or so though.

Mine has a 3" dump for the exhaust, and a 2" for the wastegate coming out the side of the front bumper, and then the 3" has a split with a cutout to go through the stock exhaust, and then the car is very quiet except for the sound of the turbo.
