There isnt a need to run two wastegates if you position (in the path of flow) one properly dized wastegate. Example Bergenholtz PRO FWD car has one waste gate with a ginormous turbo and there boost control is fine they are running a tangental housing as well

The people needing two wastegates have VERY efficient turbo set ups and the exhaust goes right past the wastegate and overspins the turbo.(boost spike) Adding a 2nd wastegate allows for more exhaust to vent. This isn't a problem in "high back pressure" turbo set ups like most of us run though. and it is the wrong way to go about fixing the problem anyways, positioning one properly sized wastegate in the flow path is the right way... ie: hytech header

you also need a really huge wastegate if you run it directly into.
ie: hytech header = 46mm tial

why is that? curious to know how your dictating that a more direct flow path is going to dictate a larger wastegate size
