ok well i have a zex kit (dry ) and a NOS wet kit i was wondering if there would be any benefit to running a dual stage nitrous and what would be the best way to hook it up ? like a 35 shot at full throttle then the wet kit with a button activation or somithing what do yaa'll think ?

Silly me, I thought N2o was a type of FI.

no its a type of power adder just like turbos and superchargers, but its not forced in the engine, boost is forced, gas is not...

power adder..yes
forced induction.. no

sure it is.............its forced by bottle pressure

anyways i would run the wet kit as the main effort in the 2 stages. reasoning is "dry" kits need fuel pressure for enrichment, and the best fuel pressure is at higher throttle, i would use the larger shot on the wet kit, and leave the fuel enrichment part, for the dry kit at the higher throttle area where fuel pressure is higher, i did this before with a zex znd a nitrous express, worked fine

no it isnt. "forced" refers to engine part of it. not the source of the power adder. a b16 should hold no more than 1.6 litres of air and fuel per stroke, when you force2,3,4,5 litres of air (boost) into it. that is considered forced induction you are forceing more air than it is supposed to have. when you inject nitrous into an n/a engine, there is plenty room inside the cylinder, so nitrous is not being forced into it.

as far as any type of power adder per NHRA rules goes, forced induction includes the adding of nitrous in the class....so it may not be your or my rules but if we wanna race with it, it is.

i was laways under the impretion that anything above the N/A ability added to the motor was a type of forced induction as in one of the 3
