Default dsm injectors

i just put in some dsm 440 injectors in my ls turbo. i have a jackson racing fmu car is obd 0 so it already has a resistor box. the injectors dont realy fit right in the intake manifold so i had to put in small o rings to make them fit but they sit higher than stock injectors. they run realy rich, the car smokes alot with them and loads up it only idles with the timing all the way advanced, plugs are dry black color, i have stock plugs. what is my problem can i run these injectors.

do you have anything to tune it with? vafc, hondata, aem ems? you have to much fuel. you dont need a fmu with big injectors either. you need to get something to tune the fuel with.

you just more than doubled the amount of fuel going into your motor. you need something to put you back to normal when you are not in boost.

i.e. s/vacf hondata.... some kind of fuel management

Ill give ya an example...Get a glass of water and put a straw in it and suck really hard, thats what it will do...and thats on top of not running right, you need an afc, or ecu prgrm to run 450's or it wont work....

I dont know if it would work but I would get the lowest FMU disk you can get and maybe turn down the fuel pressure so it doesnt load up at idle.........but that will be a really gangster setup. Better just get an AFC!!!

you need to either take out the 440's and leave the FMU.

or

you need to take out the FMU and get s/vfac/hondata/etc.

you need FUEL MANGEMENT......... vafc or safc or hondata.. you cant run big injectors with out fuel mangement. if you want to keep that shitty fmu then put the stock injectors back in and run 6psi. 450 injectors need something to tune them with...
