DSM 1g SMIC: Who's running it and with what results?
So I FINALLY got all my boost stuff today. So close to saying im boosted that I can hear the low *** bov from 1g eclipse. Side mount was amongst it and im getting some info on it.
Who's running the Side Mount, with what results? Where did you put it at and is it enough to run 10psi on? Im sure it is, almost positive but I want to know what kind of air flow those of you who are or have used it are getting. Couldnt hurt. Thanks y0.

Did search. But not the specifics on what i'm asking. Still searching also. Also, for some reason most of the setup pics aren't working, maybe links are too old. Second reason why I posted and asked. thanks.

Yeah that's what I figured anyway...
If they can use them in the engine bay for up to 15psi, then my little Honda should be alright. Mounting it on the front would be cool, just dont know how much it would cost to get the end tanks rewelded so that I can get the right amount of air flow.

Not for show or anything like that. I'd paint it black it's just to get more air to it rather than in the fender well. Mesh in front of it so noone sees it.
But if you're saying that it won't help either way then, hell.
By the way, how much do you sell your oil return line kits for?14b dsm setup on a 92-95 Civic.

Re: (Dream)
Its not bad, flows well but heatsoaks very fast. It did pretty well when I had my sohc turbo setup @ .62bar.
The talon my intercooler came off of ran 21psi and ran a 12.9 with it.

So would putting it in the open, maybe gaurding it with some decent mesh, with a bumper cut out... would that cool it down enough to where it runs a bit better and doesnt heat soak so fast?

Re: (Dream)
as long as 25% of the core is getting direct air it'll be fine. I cut out part of the side duct and cut out part of my splashguard behind the ic replacing the cutout with some black mesh.
