P2P0 custom length rods there is a plenty of clearance

joppe - your girdle notches look like overkill.
not that it matters as your engine runs strong, but wondering why you chose to cut so deep.

Those are just random pics, i think rod bolt will go deeper to that hole.

The cylinder notching looks ok but that girdle looks very thin now. That's like half the thickness of material you removed, I hope it holds. I don't think you needed that much clearance.

I just checked my clearances and I have 55 to 60 thousands from the rods to the block and about 30 thousands from my caps and bolts to the girdle I may notch them a bit, if there is anymore flex than 20 thousands flex in an engine there is something wrong lol. That coming from a guy who has 30+ years of experience building engines.

I would notch them slightly... You never know and its better to be safe than sorry
especially when building a motor.

I hear that, ill be ready to swap next week after I build my intake and triple check my clearance. If i don't go on call next week.
