Default Blockguard yes or no?

Done alot of searching always get conflicting opinions

GSR Block 81.5 MM on stock sleeves, after market Pistons and rods Wiseco flat tops/Eagle its at 9.5:1

Eagle Block guard installed by good machine shop Before the the cylinders were bored/ rehoned. Installed about 1/4 " below surface Welded to block

Good idea or no?
also what HP level will my Stock sleeves Be safe at?

No, useless.

Unless you do a precision fit like the CSS. Its been covered many times.

Welded to block? wtf. get a precision fitted one like the CSS or put your money elsewhere

or sleeve it.

that was the machine shops idea i guess thats how he does it. he said its so it wont move

Blockguard: No
CSS: not a bad option, but idk if its really necessary either

I would honestly leave it alone OR save the money to sleeve it

Yes, I have made 691whp 462 torque stock b20 sleeves vtect head using golden eagle block guard. Best time 10.17@145 not a clean pass.
