thinking about heading to ny for some tuning any thoughts on drt?

I don't know how Drt's aem tuning is, but i know how mine is. We at Api are all certified and experienced AEM EMS tuners. We are located just north of NYC, 31 fullerton Ave. Yonkers, NY 10705. Call us for aem tuning package deals or for whatever other questions you may have. I personally run the Aem system in my car, good choice

ralphy at DRT is a great AEM tuner he does plenty of tunning on AEM and he knows the system well just give him a call.

I've also seen Ralpy run 3 turbo cars hard and just shut them down right after the run so the cars can cool and produce higher numbers after 20 minutes. Kills turbos fast? I told him I had an SMC so there wasn't much to play with, and he tells me he's heard of it before. I showed it to him just to be sure and he just brushed it off. When the car was on the dyno he proceeded to **** with the AVC-R and it took him a couple minutes to realize it wasn't an S-AFC. He totally neglected the SMC and asked me how to work the AVC-R. I showed him the book and he says "I'm not reading that," which is somewhat understandable because time is money. He also had me set to about 12.5 psi with no regards to a STOCK MAP sensor.

I'm sure other people had good experiences but take mine for what it's worth. Try to hear from people who've actually been there and not people passing on what they've heard. I heard great things about DRT before being let down.

Also don't bother with appointments, I had to come back on 3 seperate occasions to get some dyno time (even though I was promised a spot everytime). I'm upgrading to an EMS next week, and will be self tuning. When it comes time for the dyno I'm looking for a near-by Dyno Dynamics dyno or another type of brake dyno. Not to thread jack but if anyone knows of one in NYC let me know.

By the way try RPM and NRG, both shops have a presence here on HT.

Ralphy is the one whos tunes my Hondata. I have nothing but good things to say about him. My motor is currently being built by him.

DRT has a pretty good rep for EMS + high HP Hondas.
"30psidaily" had his almost 400whp b-series honda tuned by them, he had a very good experience to report about how everything was handled.

im trying to get some time on the dyno with ralphy, i called yesterday and ralphy wasnt there so ill be calling back, hopefully i wont have to come back 3 times like the other guy said.... how much does drt charge for hondata? ive heard about 500$?

DRT is good place for tuning .. i get my car tunned there and they treat u with respect when u are down there and u get what u pay for . good tuning = fast reliable car

RPM is the way to go, got a full-race motor built by them and they are going to be tuning soon. A+ shop
