Ok on the exhaust manifold, the CENTER bolt on the lower half where the dip stick comes through.......HOW THE **** do i get that bolt in to mount the manifold to my head? i have shaved it down, and played with it for hours, and i am really fed up, what the hell? the bolt isnt even close to fitting in that tiny hole, the angle is way to steep......please help, please please

 

you just have to play with it....try loosening sum bolts, tightening others....it's a pain...but it will go on

 

i replaced that particular bolt with a stud... its much easier to put a nut on it than to try to get a bolt in there.

 

Next question, i found that the stock downpipe that comes with the Drag kit didnt line up perfectly for me, its pointing slightly towards the passanger side and angled up......does this mean my turbo is not lined up properly or is this beacuse the DP isnt right? i am going to the muffler shop tommrow so tell me what to do!

 

its the downpipe.
I always straighten them out when i install them.

 

i couldn't get that center bolt in also so i just left it off. no problems so far. as for the downpipe any muffler shop can fix that for you.

 

ok PHEW! what a relief! i was all worried, i will just have them bend my downpipe a little then i will be in business! rock on fellas! thanks for the help, just another reason why i love this place


a side note: i know i am not Worthy yet, but now that i will be boosted, how do i go about becoming a "turbo mafia?" do i start low in the ranks.....say: "Turbo Infantry?" "turbo 1st platoon"

 

update: SUCCESS IS MINE! id like to thank John at my Midas shop for helping fix my downpipe to fit!


Next question: could someone be a little more specific about what to do once i have put the pipe in my oil pan....i get lost here

 

Put the pipe in the oil pan? I assume that you are talking about the drain plug. If that is it, then you need to connect it to the drain side on your turbo.

 

no no, i mean where exactly should the pipe be entering the pan......i have it going in at a very shallow point in the pan, is this correct? anyone have pics?

 

Todays question:

when plugging my fuel pump positive wire to the grey box that "clicks" when you turn your car on, it inserts to Pin #4, where exactly is this box under my dash? i cant turn it on cause i have no intake or exhaust manifold, and my fuel lines are in pieces!

 

I would like to know this too? It's been a while since someone posted to this topic. Have you figured it out yet NYb? What did you do - for my info?

 

yea Maxim.....the grey box is right above the ECU, its actually not grey. put your ear down there when you turn your battery on, you can find it.
