If you use a drag 3 kit do you have to get rid of your a/c and is it possible to get to 300hp with a stock d16y8 with a intake and exhaust? or can i get 300 hp with a greddy kit?

not sure if you have to remove a/c or not, no it's not possible to get 300hp on a d16 with intake ans exhaust. no the greddy kit will not support 300hp

You won't lose a/c with a drag manifold. As far as 300hp goes it will be really really difficult...so don't count on it.

 

intake with the turbo? 300hp out of a stock D series? You need to read more about FI before going turbo. Just search the FI archives.

 

yeah that was stupid of me the intercooler piping replaces the intake. I know the drag system is for the d16y8 but since i can't get 300hp i think i will go with the greddy because its cheaper and then get an intercooler on that.

 

your not going to get 300 horse out of the greddy meybe 175 max but the drag will prduce 300 horse just not on a stock d16

 

will that 175 be on the stock motor? and what boost level?
