I was wondering exactly where you need to shave part of the block during the drag 3 install on a Si? Im looking into getting this kit, so I wanted to have an idea before I took on the task, PICS are welcomed!!
I would like to know if I have to shave my block with the drag 3 kit on my b16.
Does anyone have the exact specs on the T3/T04B that comes in the drag kit for a b16?? Search used to bring up a post, but it doesn't work anymore.

there is no shaving necessary if you install everything correctly.

WRONG shaving is neccessary on the passanger side of the block, right below the block ID #, where it webs out, you need to shave about a 1/4"

It all depends what size your compressor is.

I dont know what kind of turbo you are running because i have installed 2 drag gen 3 kits on a Si, and NOOO shaving of the block was necessary. period. if this guy is running a t3/t4, it requires no shaving. if you had the t3t4 and had to shave, you must not have rotated the compressor housing enough.

The T04E has 6 main blades with 12 sub-blades... these blades are rather large, so they move alot of air. The T04B has 7 main blades and 14 sub-blades.. these blades are a little smaller than the T04E's so they spool quicker but dont generally move as much air.
