DP question
Not really sure if this is a dumb question or not, but if I get a 3" DP can I still have my A/C? I heard that you would have to take out your A/C if you get a 3" DP. Thanks
It's really really hard (near impossible) to make an efficient full 3" dp that clears the AC compressor. (That is, with the turbine outlet facing the drivers side).
If you flip the turbo around full 3" is easy w/ AC but it's hard to use an air filter

You can always start it out as 2.5 and then step it up to 3" once the AC is cleared. It wont be quite as good as a full 3", but still better than 2.5 all the way.
I just came to the stunning realization when I installed my test pipe that my 2.5" downpipe is running into a 2.25" cat-back exhaust (why did I think the Comptech was a 2.5"???)
Wonder how much power THAT's losing for me.
