downpipe questions.....
Okay i have a h22a4 in my 95 civic hatchback. I was going to have a 3" downpipe mandrel bent made and i did. I had the start made from the turbo down to where oil pan is.....then i had a 3" section from cat to oil pan made...and i was goign to flex pipe it together. Problem is where my test pipe sits.....when i bolt up 3" section to it...the pipe hits the oil pan. Is this bad? If i wraped it in heat tape for awhile would this be fine. My thinking is im going to put it all together and then have a 2.5" section made where oil pan is but for now i need somethign that works? Any ideas?

They sell some sheet of flexible metal that is sticky on one side, it is for exactly what you need. To put between the downpipe and oil pan.
This flexible metal heatshield will stick to the oil pan.
