How much would a Down pipe fabrication cost? I have a Rev Hard manifold with a T3 from a Nissan 300zx. Which is cheaper, finding a used Rev Hard DP or going to a muffler shop to have on made?

 

You'll probably want to have one made. Plan on about $250 w/flex pipe.

 

Muffler shop by far, just make sure it's mandrel bent. Probably save ya 50 bucks plus shipping costs extra that you would pay for a rev hard dp. Lates

 

Thanks for the quick replys. Another question, you think I will have to supply the flange for the DP or will most muffler shops already have them? Also, how about intercooler piping, is it a better bet to get that fabricated also?

Unless you're going with standard components just like what comes with a kit, you'll be better off with custom piping (that's what I'm probably doing since I'm using a non standard IC and BOV).

Don't forget Deltagate flanges if you need a wastegate dumptube.

You can get one made from SFP for about $175.

 

I'm in New Jersey and aren't they in Florida. Wouldn't that be a problem?

 

Depends on if they have done one for your car before w/ that same manifold, chacnes are they could easily copy it, hell call them and ask.

most muffler shops i know of will custom fabricate everything. downpipe is just an exhaust pipe, so that should be simple! and flanges are just to hold the pipe still... a piece of metal will do that. It shouldn't cost you more than $100.
