Downloading S300 cal file from ECU *Warning*
What is the warning all about, when downloading a calibration file from the ECU? What are you supposed to do if you are tuning a car and dont have the original cal file?
I assume its just Hondata's way of assuming no responsibility if the file becomes corrupt or damaged, but seems really flaky.
Any advice for me for when I download the calibration and start to make changes? Are there certain things to look out for that could get messed up during the download?

It's just coving their own *** and after you diablo ad it save it and name he fuel in case in the future you have an issue you can backup from that file. Also in case your file ends up corrupt. That's happens to menu save the same tune under two names

I've done it in a pinch and it cost me a motor, af's wouldn't come above 10.2 so I kept removing fuel trying to compensate and melted a piston. I believe the boost by gear function was also acting flakey. Once it was too late I knew what was wrong.
