I've got a good idea, and don't flame me, after all, forums are for learning, but what exactly does the ECU do? Whats a fuel map? What does putting in an aftermarket ECU do?

 

ECU controls the motors fuctions?
Fuel maps are the setting in the ECU for giving the motor fuel at certin rpm and motor loads
Aftermarket ECU are for giving the motor a higher RPM, more fuel and better timing curves for motors that have hace mods done to them.
