Default Does hallman pro boost controller work well??

Im currently boosting 7 psi tial wastegate on my drag turbo ls vtec setup. Im gonna dyno tuned this week and up the boost to 10psi. WIll the hallman work and not fluctuate?? I dont have the cash for electronic one, im running hondata btw. Anyone have experiences with hallman?

I have a hallman, My Tial WG has a 6psi spring, And I am at 11psi. It holds perfect.

used a hallman for a while here as well before I switched to an ebc.

worked great.

im using a hallman pro mbc.. holds a rock steady 25psi!! with i think something like a 12-15psi wastegate spring.

how do you guys install your hallman mbc any pics?? so the one line goes from mbc to turbo housing and the other line goes from mbc to the external wastegate line?? got any pics?

one line to side port of wastegate and other line to a vacuum source.. mine is hooked up to the GE vaccum manifold.

Um, wow. I never knew people couldn't install one of these. You have read the FI FAQ, or at least that 'Bees and Goats' FI Guide, right? If you understand how FI works, you'll never ask that question again.

If you put it between the WG and turbo, you'll see slightly lower PSI (for the same setting), and it will vary based on the weather (fmic efficiency). If you put it between the WG and a vacuum source (anywhere on the intake mani after the TB), psi will always be the same, but the IAT's will change a bit based on fmic efficiency.

I installed my hallman and when I hit full boost and its only boosting 5psi. Wtf i feel loss of power. Is it normal for psi to drop when i install hallman, I was currently boosting at 7 psi. The adjustment was all the way to negative. I turn the **** a little to up it and bam back to 7psi. I guess, I will have to hit the dyno Friday nite.

can u explaine all that to me without the abreviations (fmic, iat, fi, fi faq, tp) i have my mbc hook to the turbo and to the waste gate. but if u connect the vacuum end of the mbc to the intake mani wat do u do with the line to the turbo? r u talking about leaving the turbo connected to the side of the wg and hook the mbc to the vacuum on top the wg and then run to the intake mani? i have a turbonetics deltage wg
