With the right tuning, and proper ignition timing those electric superchargers are good for about 700whp on pump gas, I personally run three of them on my prelude. $300 aint bad for a mod that made be run a 8.96.

I just dynoed one of those things for a customer. He has an older neon with 2 of the "e-ram" charger things. I guess they give you money back if you send them a dyno sheet with a short description and an authorized signature, which i gave him.

Anyway, i logged boost and it made .17psi for about 100rpm when they first turned on (full throttle switch) then the car made 2-4whp less in the upper rpms. No horsepower gained anywhere. This is in comparison to a short ram intake we rigged up 10 min after the e-ram tests.

if you could make one work, you would need a hella powerful electric motor, and a few commercial leaf blower to make your own, but even then it wouldnt work all that great
