Default Do I really need the missing link with this amount of boost?

Ill be running minimum 4 lbs & maximum 7 lbs. I do NOT want a check engine light or CEL code at all. I have been told that as soon as the map sensor see's positive energy (boost), it will throw the code, but I have also been told, that it wont throw a code or check engine light up to 10 or 11 PSI. Which is true? Do I really need one for the small amount of boost I will be running? Let me know, I need to know asap! Thanks for your time

-Ryan

What are you using for engine management? If you're running an FMU setup, a missing link/check valves are needed.

then yes you need the missing link thingy........

i suggest you scrap the FMU/missing link/inline pump and get some real engine managment

if your on a budget use uberdata allong with some larger injectors.

^^^Good advise^^^

Uberdata is pretty much free and a set of DSM 450cc incectors can be had for around $50.

I cant do that. I have a OBD-II Vehicle with an Automatic Transmission.. I cant use Hondata, or Uberdata... I have to go with something else... & im not sure to what to go with... the FMU is a temp. setup until I can find real fuel management.

I am not 100 percent sure about this, but does the integra run a seperate computer for the auto tranny? I am not too up to date with the obd2 stuff. But if it has a seperate unit, I believe you can run hondata or uberdata.

From what I have found the Auto ECUs are different than the stick ECUs and I guess nobody makes an OBDII -> OBDI conversion harness for an Auto ECU.

Suggestions? Anybody?

And this isn't a "Swap to a 5spd" thread ..... so don't make that a suggestion.
