Do I have everything? d16
If my tuner can find time for me, I am going to hopefully be tuning in the near future. Here is my setup:
d16y7 w/greddy kit @~8psi untuned
rc440's
hondata s100b
walbro 255lph
y8 tranny
spec stage 3 6 puck clutch
quaife lsd
3 bar map sensor
ES motor mount inserts
arp's
Hoping to tune at 12psi on this setup? Is that realistic?

I have eagle rods and CP pistons sitting in my room right now, but the price to get machine work done doesn't make up for only being able to push this turbo to 14-15psi so I am holding out on putting them in til I get a bigger turbo setup.

why not put that stuff in there now, then when you want a bigger turbo about a week after your tunned you can just bolt it up.
12 psi on stock internals is fine. but it wont last very long.
platinum.

..lasted me about a year before I took off the kit, motor still runs strong today.

I have been running 12psi+ on stock internals for about 2 months. I have a built motor ready and waiting just no time to install so I am beating on what I have got. Compression tested at 210 on 2 different snap-on gauges. I use Hondata S200 tuned by yours truly.

What kind of motor do you have? I've got a D16z6 and my compression is 180 across (which is nominal according to the helms book).
Im also hoping to tune at 10psi on stock interns.

no you need a b series
I wouldn't bother wiht teh arp's untill you put your built motor in...12 psi will be fine, Im sure if he asked if he could run 9-10psi but had a t3/t4 you guys would say it will be fine just because he only wants to run 9-10psi 12psi should be around 200-210whp with that turbo...I know your gonna want more by spring any ways pfieff...hell i know i do after playing with a few supra's this weekend
