That was at 9.5 psi. I am now running 11 psi and will be installing the 3 bar map sensor, arp head studs, y8 intake manifold and tuning for 15 psi next weekend.

Ill post more #'s and dyno sheets then.

In my opinion, you should pop for Hondata...

It will run so much better, and the power gains will be there.

Ditch the exhaust and run open-DP, just for *****.

yah iknow it will... all in due time... i'm changing my shitty old turbo first of all and going obd1. then somewhere along the line definitely hondata. And I like to run/dyno the car as I drive it on the street daily. Only after I've done that do i see what it can do with stuff like open dp. hehehe

Well i think your problem is the bluebox and the lack of an intercooler. The key to any turboed car is the fuel management once you get that all together then i doubt you will be disappointed.

Intercooler isa MUST

upgrade the Downpipe (its too tiny, like my greddy one)

High flow cat (2.5" or 3")

Hondata S200

Boost @ 8 psi youll be fine

See my #'s with the greddy, i have to install a lot of stuff once my flex pipe comes, ill be sure to very close to 200whp by just opening the exhuast!! The greddy DP is like 1.9"

ooh im pretty sure my DP is 2.5 cause a 2.25 gasket would not fit on the end of it, i had to mash it on there. and im hollowing out my cat this weeknd, so yeah then ill have 2.5 all the way back, if not more where my cat is.

dyno dyno dyno...the dyno never lies especially with wideband...check ur compression and see if ur car is good to start with...make sure u got all the plugs, fuel and get a boost gauge to see if ur holding boost...most kits spikes a lil so check everything out...read the sig and sohc turbo can own pretty damn well...7 psi i made 160whp and 150tq untuned...

Well you do need some fuel management, what about getting a V-AFC, DSM injectors, resister pack and going to a dyno.

It sounds like you don't have a blow off valve. Post your setup!

Thats very true. My boosted sohc feels like stock slow to me anymore because when im driving im just paying attention to driving and im used to it. I often wondered if my car is runnin right because it felt so weak sometimes, but then id run into a 5.0 stang or dsm on the street and realize it must be runnin decent, plus it still impressed my friends. However if I let my buddy drive while I ride, I can just sit back and enjoy and it seems like it pulls way harder, It pleases me everytime.
I say get rid of the cat asap. Also it might be worth a shot to try warmer plugs, I run the 6 series versus 7 on my sohc with no problems. Its only 8 bucks plus tax for a round of ngk coppers.
