Default Differential installation

What tools are needed to install a differental? This is my spare tranny and I want to learn how to do it that way I can install my quaife later down the road. This is a 1994 LS tranny. I'm just going to pull out the shattered diff and put another stock one in.

you will need a 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, snap ring pliers, prybar(or standard screwdriever). It is pretty in depth, i would get a fsm and read up..... not too hard but takes some time.

There is a full "how to" in the integra forums that helps with the full change.

to get the countershaft seperate from the case opposite of the bell housing you have to unclip a snap ring and the countershaft drops dowm and you can lift the case off. The prybar or standard screwdriver is used to seperate the case

I've gotten that far. I just need to get the pliers to unclip the snap ring. I've taken all the bolts that hold the casing together and pryed the casing apart about 2 inches.
