Different Turbo's, Which?
I'll just ask this.. I cant seem to find any solid answers, but it'll be 300whp -/+
I am going to be getting a KIT, and this specific kit offers 6 different turbos, and i'd like to get to know more about each turbo. How will i be able to find the Compressor Maps on each of the Garret turboes?
-GT3255b (+$300)
-Garret T3/T4 50 trim, 63 A/R
-Garret T3/T4 57 trim, 63 A/R
-Garret T3 60, 48 A/R
-Garret T3/T4 45 trim
&
-Precision 4854B, 63 A/R
-Precision 4831B, 63 A/R
Any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Different Turbo's, Which?
If it was me I'd use a Garrett unit and pick the smallest Turbo that achieves my goal. That been that I don't want to make more power in the future.

Re: Different Turbo's, Which?
Well, basically these are my questions;
1. Which turbo is the biggest? (Garret Preferance)
2. Should I go for the GT3255, or are the others just as good?

Re: Different Turbo's, Which?
The turbos listed range from a max of 320-500. I'm not 100% sure about the gt3255b specs but the largest turbo from what I know is going to be the 60 trim. The 57 and 50 trim are next. Followed by the gt3255b and then the two precision turbos. If your looking for a goal of 300-350 whp I would go with the 50 trim. Will spool well and obtain that goal easily and it's a quality Garrett unit.

Re: Different Turbo's, Which?
which "kit" is this?
it looks like you listed the options for the go-autoworks tuner kit...if so call greg...he's got uber knowledge and doesnt mind talking for a few minutes to find you the best turbo for your set-up . he will sell you the best fit for your set-up regaurdless of which makes him more money....he'd rather have a happy customer that is happy with there set-up
