Default difference between saturated and peak & hold injectors

Right now I have Precision Turbo 440 injectors. I think they are saturated but not sure. @ 10 psi I am running around 90% duty cycle. I want to run 13psi. The shop that tuned it said I needed 550s or 660s to run 13psi.. What is the difference between peak\hold and saturated. Which should I get and would I need to change anything for the different kind. Basically what is the difference and do you need to change anything (wiring, etc) to switch from peak\hold to saturated or vice versa. Thanks

Default Re: difference between saturated and peak & hold injectors (tslag)

peak and hold = low resistance
saturated = high resistance

when you change to the peak and hold you'll need a resistor box that can be had for like $20

Then you'll need to wire that in.

The injectors utilize different voltages so thats why you need the resistor box. otherwise you can fry stuff b/c of too much power
