difference between mechanical and electrical boost gauges?

Default difference between mechanical and electrical boost gauges?

as in, do you tee them off the same lines? why are electrical ones better?

It would be easier to run wires through the firewall then a vaccum line. I think accuracy is going to be pretty much the same as long as you have a good gauge.

i did run my mechanical boost gauge through my firewall.

Mechanical and Electrical are basically almost the same. Except Electrical might be a little more accurate, not by much though!

Also, with Electrical, most of them have cool features like red flashing lights hwen you over boost, peak boost memory , etc...

I have a mechanical boost gauge and its like 98% accurate.
