AEM's EMS vs Hondata
Does anyone have one of these yet? I want to go standalone but not sure which way to go. Either Hondata or AEM fit my budget. I need to gather more info about the AEM system before I can choose. Can anyone shed any light on which standalone to use? Turbo boosting 7-8psi daily driver.
Also, SGT racing: Are the Hondata systems in this G/B the newer 'tune on the fly' design or just the normal type.

Re: AEM's EMS vs Hondata (PressurizedSi)
if your only gonna run 7-8psi i would say hondata
i have no information to back it up other than the aem looks like hondata 4b.
so for a low boost application your best bet is a lower hondata setup.
anyone else? ill be wresteling with this in a few months.

Read up the info on both systems. http://www.aempower.com and http://www.hondata.com
There are many difference b/t Hondata and AEM as well as many similiarities. The cool thing about aem is plug and play. AEM comes with base program already loaded in so you can start the car and drive it to a tuner so he can fine tune that sucker for you. I will have some feed back for you guys in the middle of the week. We are doing 2 cars that will be runnign AEM EMS.
