what is the difference between the two XS manual boost controllers? theres one for around $80 and another "high performance" one for $140ish. im assuming one is way better...prevents for spikes or something. thanks.

both do not prevent spikes. the standard mbc is the bleeder type. the high performance mbc is the ball and spring design... which i recommend. dude... get the joe p mbc on http://www.boostcontroller.com for only $50 shipped. i got one and it works pretty good. does the same thing as the XS hpmbc, but it has a dual ball design as a safety feature for overboost. for the amount of boost youre doing.. you wont get any boost creep with the joe p mbc and it helps the turbo spool quicker... especially in 5th gear.

 

The dual stage comes with a toggle switch to switch between boost. Thats basically the only difference.

 

what is faster for spool up out of the two? does anyone know? also i have the dual stage one from turboxs and it does not have the same part. ball and spring as the high performnce one.
