Dawes Devices MBC vs. XS MBC
the mbc at dawes devices (http://www.dawesdevices.com/boost.html) are only $35 vs $70 for an xs engineering one. i understand xs is good for their stuff, but will 2x the price be worth it? whats the difference? i want to know if anyone has the dawes in their setup if they experience any spikes or anything.

I believe the Dawes device is a ball and spring setup while the Turbo XS standard boost controller is a bleed valve (i know i sent mine back). The ball and spring method regulates boost more accurately and also helps boost build faster. The Turbo XS high performance boost controller is a ball and spring but will also cost you $129. I would buy the Dawes device or make your own. I have heard good things about Joe C boost controller but i don't know anything about them.

the dawes device works good but you get boost spiking too. theres a groupbuy on the turbo xs hpmbc for $100 shipped. better yet... get a joe p controller for $45.
