Did Z10 redesign their traction bars recently?
Now they're being advertised as "no bind" and the pickup points look to have been moved inward a little. Or is it just my imagination? What do you guys think?Z10 Engineering

But they said there was nothing wrong w/ it I hate when companies fix what they say was never broken.

Everything gets updated, that doesn't mean it was broken to begin with.
How many times have you tweaked something on your car to make it work a little bit better? The car still might have run great before the tweak.

Yes, updates are good. But what's so hard about admitting there was a problem to begin with? I would much rather a company do that than just pretend nothing was ever wrong. Remember when Geoff showed how showed why the z10's geometry was off? Why would z10 bother advertising new bars as "no bind" if the previous ones supposedly never had that problem, see?

Re: (Muckman)
seems like they improved the design at the same time as fullrace brought their line of bars out
the price they are selling the DIY kits are pretty cheap thou, which is not listed on the site btw.

I'm interested in the geometry of these traction bars. Anyone have a site or a thread with info? I'd like to know exactly how/why they work.

Our DA Kits are $450.00 Shipped. So if you figure its 10-$15 to ship there
around $435 Anyone who releases a DA Kit would be priced the same or more.

Re: (Z10ROB)
so Z10ROB, is this rumor true that you guys recently updated the design?
If so, can you shed some light on what exactly was changed?
Do the bars still connect to the LCA at the same place?
