Diagram on MBC
Hey guys, can you look at my diagram and tell me if I got it right? My question is, right now, i have the the hole at the turbo housing, pluged up, and i'm running the vacuum line from the top of my delta gate to the intake manifold, and the side port is just left open.
Now, with the MBC, I just put it in place between the intake manifold vacuum line to the top port of my delta gate right? Is there any need to do any thing with side port of the Delta gate or the plugged hole? Thanks guys.

Re: Diagram on MBC (b18tdelsol)
Here's what you do....hold on, lemme run out to my car for a second.
EDIT: Oh wait a sec...you said Manual boost controller, right? I have an electronic.
Anyway, here's what you do. The MBC should be hooked up inline with the regular wastegate vacuum tube.
EDIT AGAIN: That is if you have the kind of MBC that I'm talking about. Something like a homemade one or a Turbo XS one.
My advice is to use a line between your compressor housing on the turbo to the MBC, then to the side port of your Deltagate. The top port is used for EBC's. You don't need that. You should measure the actual boost level with a boost gauge through the intake manifold...so you can get an accurate reading without pressure drop.
You can, run the vacuum line to the WG from the IM, but it's a little safer to do it the other way since you're going to open the wastegate immediately after the desired boost is reached.
I dunno if I'm explaining this correctly and if it's making any sense...but I hope it helps a little.
