How far do you guys screw the screw into the wastegate. Mine is showing about 1/2 inch of thread. I have no idea where an ideal spot is.

 

The further screwed IN, the more boost it will hold.
I initially unscrewed it as far as it would go. Better to get a boost
gauge to see what you're boosting, rather than guess.

 

I squeezed like 9psi out of my 7psi spring by tightening it way down there.

 

currently my boost gauge isn't going over 6 psi. If I tighten the wastegate spring, would that help me get to 7psi? Trying to figure out whey I am not hitting full boost. This sounded easier to do first to see if this is the problem before I look to see if I have any leaks.
