Default Dart Blocks ?

Just wondering if anyone is using them and how much do they cost? Im looking to build a motor using a dart block so i wont have any down time.

im using one is its done this week YAY!!!!
my block cost me around 1800-2000 itself. then rods/pistons. I hope you have a B-series motor you can strip down cause your going to need the crank and every single bolt off of the stock block to use on the DART block. Good luck if you need anything else let me know.

You can also speak to b18gsrcivic on here. He seems to be having an oil leak issue with his. He posted a while back asking if anyone had this problem, suprisingly a few people did. Not sure if he has fixed it yet though? something related to using teflon tape on the threads for the plugs on the block.

im getting a dart block soon...and would like to know what kind of problems have you encounter with yours...does the block require machining like honing and decking? any help with be appreicated. thanks

yeah its going to need to be honed. It might need to be decked.
I know some of the passages need some work.

No ****, why waste 2 grand on something when it's proven that you can sleeve a stock block for a thousand and it will take 700+ horsepower? If you want a tall deck motor that is a good idea, but for a stock deck height motor it's a waste IMO.
