Re: d16z6 turbo rods and pistons
Get on eBay
Type in "d16 vitara rods"
And it will pull up several vitara kits they sell
You can get custom length fj rods with 75mm or 75.5mm ycp vitara pistons with standard Acl race bearings for 500 bucks
Or you can get the kit that has the eagle rods with ycp pistons
But that's 500 without bearings
Speedfactory used the p2p0 kit and made almost 600 I think
The p2p0 kit has the fj rods and ycp pistons

Re: d16z6 turbo rods and pistons
They might be out of buisiness but there rods are still out there....
Like the screen shot I just took. If you type in what I quoted 3 posts ago you will see the same thing
Fj rods, ycp true 75mm pistons, and Acl race series bearings
All for 499.99
Pontiac doesn't make cars anymore but can you still buy a pontiac new? Yeah they just don't manufacture them any more
P2p0 was out of stock for 6 months them had them back in stock until around 2 months ago
And those npr vitara pistons are a 75mm Suzuki bore
If you buy NPR brand then you'll have to buy 75.5 and have the block matched to the pistons
Ycp makes them using Honda's 75mm not Suzuki's
75mm which is barely off from Hondas
If you buy the 75mm NPR and don't get the p2c done then your car will have really bad piston knock
