Default d16z6 turbo?

I was just curious on what used turbo to get and what intercooler and waste gate to get and injectors if i want to build a high 200+ hp d16z6 lmk thanks. also what size downpiping and charge piping should be used?

yes i agree use the search button there are alot of different opinions on what is the ideal setup. i think you get the most power out of a good cam and tuning not just the turbo.

yea seriously you need to search and read on whats available and ****, and also set your goals and needs(more specific then just 200+hp) and then figure out what needs to be done to reach those goals.

however, here is a little bit of my personal advice to get you started

t3 60 trim/or super 60: should take you beyond the limits of a stock block(225+)
tial or similar external if you plan on running a lot of boost, im sure an internal gate will be fine for at least 200 whp
many people use the johnnyracecar intercoolers due to the cost effectiveness. i had one- its quality was perfect but the length of the core caused me to cut a lot of my bumper out. something like 26 x 6 x 2.5 should be perfect for any stock block z6 setup you can muster up

2.25, once again, good for more hp then you can make on a stock z6 with a t3 turbo

for info on setup checkmy sig

charge pipes 2.25 in
downpipe 2.5 or 3, whatever is better when building


turbo... doesnt matter.... just make the right choice
